May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness, breaking down stigma, and fostering a culture of openness and support for mental well-being. At optiMize, we believe that mental health is crucial for everyone’s personal and community growth. Mental health as a fundamental aspect of overall well-being. By fostering a supportive and empathetic community, we enable everyone to thrive both personally and professionally. This commitment to mental health ensures that our projects not only address critical social issues but also promote a holistic approach to innovation and success.

Over the past three years, we've been privileged to support several projects designed to promote mental health and wellness. NeuroArts Production is a neuroscience-based, arts-presenting organization. They are revolutionizing access to precision mental health through the fusion of art and science. NeuroArts Production offers unique therapeutic experiences that cater to individual mental health needs, providing a creative and effective approach to mental wellness.
Healing Arts Space
AI meets empathy for wellness
Cohort 12 : Yexenia Vanegas and Irvin Aguilar
Healing Arts Space is a human-centered, AI-powered platform designed to promote wellness through creativity and compassion. This project uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized mental health support, encouraging users to engage in creative activities that foster emotional well-being. By blending technology and human empathy, Healing Arts Space offers a forward-thinking solution to mental health challenges.
The Human Network
Connecting through anonymous stories
Cohort 11 : Morgan Millstein
The Human Network (Cohort XI) focuses on building community and reducing loneliness through the exchange of anonymous personal stories. By sharing experiences in notebooks, individuals can connect on a deeply personal level, finding solace in knowing they are not alone. This project exemplifies the power of storytelling and community in fostering mental health and creating a sense of belonging. (Additionally, you may be lucky enough to find one of these notebooks at your local LSA table!)
You Empower Me Podcast

iRL Initiative
Balancing digital and real life
